Yes, YOU!
If you are someone "who helps an aging, ill, or disabled family member or friend manage their day-to-day lives," you ARE a Caregiver. Read this short little piece, "Caregiver? Who Me?" from The Stanley M. Isaac's Neighborhood Center's blog eStanley for some great tips on taking care of yourself.
From AARP's downloadable guide, "Prepare to Care: A Planning Guide for Adult Care":

"Today, 30 million households are providing care for an adult over the age of 50—and that number is expected to double over the next 25 years. For many Americans, life at 40, 50 or even 60 years old will include care for an aging parent or relative. As the nation grows older, the need for caregiving will be as common as the need for child care."Where to begin? The AARP article "8 Rules for New Caregivers" gives you a checklist to help you make sure you are not doing this alone. AARP has lots of good information in their online Caregiving Resource Center, such as Caregiving Tips from others who are also Caregivers--just like you.
