A fresh coat of paint to start the fall!

Just in time for "Fall Cleaning," United Way's Day of Caring brought Vanguard employees to Havertown Center for some sprucing up. Tim Larkin, Manger of Upper Darby's MAB Paint provided a generous donation of paint. Thanks to a stipend from the United Way SEPA, we were able to purchase everything we needed to make this project happen.

Our Pool Room and our TV Lounge (Wii Room, Card Room...) each got a fresh coat of paint. All the cobwebs and dust bunnies were shooed away and walls, doors, and window frames were brightened up with new paint. Now the rooms sparkle!

Our Lunch Room (Exercise Room, Line Dancing Room...) also got a makeover with a new, more sophisticated beige. Curtains are being washed and our Havertown Center Banner is getting freshened up. Inspirational quotes and art will decorate the walls--all in time for Frank Sinatra Night!

Thank you, United Way, MAB Paints and Vanguard!
